Keith’s Magazine on Home Building was very popular during the American Craftsman design era, and was published from the turn of the centure through the 1930’s. Keith's was an authority on architecture, interior design, and building techniques, and helped popularize the bungalow style. (Find issues of Keith's Magazine on the Internet Archive.)
Walter J. Keith’s architectural firm sold home plans, and provided blueprint drawings and detailed materials lists to facilitate building. Keith's plans were marketed across the country through catalogs and books advertised in popular magazines like Ladies' Home Journal. The eye-catching Model 1070 appeared in many of these ads.
