Model 1070 appeared as an illustration in "Bungalows, Camps and Mountain Houses", by William T. Comstock. This 1908 book featured homes selected and compiled by the editors of Architects’ and Builder’s Magazine. (This book may still be available for download from Google Books.)Unlike nearly every other house in the book, the architect was not identified. Keith’s Magazine on Home Building was perhaps considered a rival publication. Or possibly there was a policy not to publicize a "mail order architect". The book used the same photograph that appeared in The Ladies' Home Journal, so there is no doubt the editors knew the architect.
