PeeGee Paint Catalog

The enduring appeal of this design was shown when, nearly 20 years after its debut in Ladies’ Home Journal, Model 1070 appeared in "Homes and How to Paint Them", a 1925 promotional booklet from Peeslee-Gaulbert Company. (This booklet was found at American Bungalow magazine, and may still be available for download.)

Described as "an ideal bungalow with extensive porches, expansive roof and low hung eaves", this was considered a "cosy, homelike design, especially adaptable to the suburban homebuilder". The floor plan shown was the one and a half story design.

The original colors used on Hatcher House were brown shingles and white trim, very typical for the bungalow style home.
